International air travel in the 1930s

The next Jiggles book, which is about two thirds done right now, will be called Jiggles and the Flying Boats, and will see our heroes flying passengers to the Channel Islands and elsewhere. This article on flying with Imperial Airways in the 1930s gives some idea of how the richest airline passengers travelled.

The flying boats in our tale don’t have room for beds, the way the large Imperial airliners did, but if they had, you could be sure Jiggles and co. would rarely use them for flying.
